Bryce Gruber on “Millionaire Matchmaker”

Posted on 20. Oct, 2010 by in Entertainment

It would appear that there are an awful lot of people searching for information about Bryce Gruber on “Millionaire Matchmaker”, some reality show about people trying to marry a really rich person. For those of you who are reading this article right now, and who are actually interested in the fate of this person and of this television program, I would like to ask you a question: how dare you be interested in this?

I ask this question to two separate groups: those who know better than to give their attention to Gruber/reality TV, and those who do not.

For those who do not know any better, I still have to ask: how dare you? Right now, people all over the earth are barely managing to stay alive while you consume the crassest form of popular media, all the while getting fatter: how dare you?

For those of you who do know better, I ask even more loudly: how dare you? You’re aware of how petty what you’re watching is, but you do it anyway because you think it’s humorous and ironic to enjoy such a crass television program: how dare you? If you have actual taste, intelligence, or even the smallest amount of social conscience, you have absolutely no right to squander your attention, let alone your waking hours on this earth, on something so pointless and idiotic as a television show about people (Americans; only such a thing could happen in the United States) desperately competing to marry a rich person.
