Paris Hilton Stopped at the Airport for Marijuana possession

Paris Hilton was held by police on the French island of Corsica as she was caught with less than a gram of marijuana in her purse. After arriving on a private jet from Paris on Friday, Hilton was stopped at the airport in Figari though according to reports, the police soon released Hilton without charging her.
One report said, “Ms Hilton was taken aside. She was searched in a secure area of the airport police station and an amount of cannabis that weighed less than a gram was found in her handbag. Due to the small amount of substance, she was cautioned to not travel with drugs then released within an hour with no criminal charges. The drug was confiscated and destroyed.”
Just earlier this month, Hilton was allegedly smoking marijuana at the World Cup and was detained at Port Elizabeth of South Africa. She was questioned by South African police last July 2. Hilton’s rep said that she was cleared of any wrongdoing – where “the incident was a complete misunderstanding” and that “the case (had) been dropped against Paris.”
The heiress is expected to continue her travels in Sardinia, Italy. Hilton denied the allegation on her Twitter account Saturday, “Just put an end to these rumors. The stories saying I have been arrested are completely false! I am having the best vacation of my life! What an amazing summer! I feel so blessed and grateful for everything. I Love Life!! :) Now let’s move on and everyone focus and enjoy their own summer time! Love you guys! Xo Paris.”
