Obama Wants to Mend Rift With Black Community

President Barrack Obama wishes to mend the damages after he fired an African-American government official, which created a stir within the black community, according to reports.
Agriculture Department employee Shirley Sherrod was forced to resign by the Obama administration after the conservative media depicted her as anti-white because of a speech she had given. As a result, the black community are up in arms with Obama, even though he attempted to give her job back, claiming they jumped the gun by firing her.
“She deserves better than what happened last week,” Obama said. He also noted that what had happened was “a bogus controversy, based on selective and deceiving excerpts of a speech.”
“Many are to blame for the reaction and overreaction that followed these comments, including my own administration,” said Obama
African Americans are part of key support for the Obama’s Democrats as they risk losing this demographic when elections come in November.
This will surely overshadow Obama’s attempts to pass the historic financial reform bill as well as his plan to extend unemployment benefits.
