Sarah Palin defends Dr. Laura

Following widespread criticism of Dr. Laura for using the “n” word repeatedly on her talk radio show, Sarah Palin has taken the initiative to stand up for Dr. Laura’s rights to “free speech”. Although you should already have a pretty good idea about the kind of things Palin would say about this, it can’t hurt to quote a Twitter post by Palin, just to put things in perspective: “Don’t retreat…reload! (Steps aside bc her 1st Amend.rights ceased 2exist thx 2activists trying 2silence“isn’t American, not fair”).”
Enough said; I think the quote speaks for itself. If it weren’t enough that Palin is largely condisered to be someone that should spend her time baking pies rather than having anything to do with politics, rolling off like an illiterate 11-year-old YouTube junkie isn’t going to help her credibility. To sum up what I mean here, let’s take a look at a quote from Gawker.com: “Sometimes it feels like you can’t go five minutes without learning something from Sarah Palin, Assistant Professor of Folksy Wisdom at Half-Understood University.”
Of course, Dr. Laura does have a constitutional right to say whatever she wants; fortunately this right does not prevent her being called out on what she says or from suffering the consequences.
