Top recruit Tony Wroten will play for the Washington Huskies, giving the team three starters heading into the season.
There are two more players needed for the Washington Huskies, so it will be interesting to see how the team fills the empty spots.
It is projected that Tony Wroten will not be the only highly touted basketball player to play for the Washington Huskies, as the team is looking to recruit two additional forwards.
Tony Wroten is 6’4″ tall, making him a top point guard in college basketball. The NCAA will no doubt be excited to have him join the program.
What’s interesting is the fact that the top recruit decided to stay home and not head to a bigger school. Given that he is from the Seattle area, Tony Wroten will be staying close to his hometown when he plays for the Washington Huskies.
Another remarkable aspect of the whole situation is that the young athlete was able to rebound from his junior year after he tore his ACL.
“I love [Seattle] and want to represent Seattle and UW to the best of my ability,” said the up-and-coming superstar, who was indecisive between Louisville, UConn, Villanova and Seattle.
