US Open Results: Roger Federer and Mardy Fish Advance To Round 3

In what has certainly been a thrilling tournament, the US Open Round 3 should be filled with numerous exciting matchups.
Both Roger Federer and Mardy Fish advanced to the US Open Round 3 on Thursday. Roger Federer stunned fans earlier in the week by performing his now famous trick shot.
Roger Federer, who is seeded at number two, was victorious against Andreas Beck.
Mardy Fish also defeated Pablo Cuevas to advance to round 3. It was a scorching hot day at Flushhing Meadows on Thursday, but the players managed to maintain their composure.
Roger Federer needed roughly one hour and forty minutes to defeat his opponent. In contrast, Kei Nishikori took almost five hours to defeat his opponent. Federer is hoping to secure his seventh straight U.S. Open final.
Mardy Fish is currently seeded at number 19. If he wins the U.S. Open, he will be eligible for a $250,000 bonus.
